2 North Carolina A&T State University students shot at party

An off-campus party ended in the deaths of two students from North Carolina A&T State University early Sunday morning. The students have been identified as Alisia Dieudonne, 19, and Ahmad Campbell, 21. They were shot this morning around 2 a.m.

According to police, an altercation broke out at the event and an unknown man pulled out a gun and began shooting. It is not known if the women were a target of the shooter’s rampage since no one else was injured. Police have stated they are looking for a Black male who fled the scene in a red vehicle.


Dieudonne was a sophomore computer science major from Homewood, Illinois; and Campbell, a junior agriculture and environmental systems major from Kittrell, North Carolina.

North Carolina A&T State University officials announced the death of students and will hold an urgent safety forum at 2 p.m. today. The university further announced that counseling will be made available on the campus from 2-5 p.m.
