That Simple Brunch pop up shop presented by Chef Atoi made its debut at the new Whiskey Peach restaurant in Midtown, Atlanta. Chef Atoi is a private chef who chooses to take her specialty brunch and dinner menus on the road and do pop ups at selected eateries.
This was a brilliant idea. For a restaurant who may have slow days or difficulty with budgets for a full-time staff, this would be perfect. Chef Atoi brings in her entire crew, from assistant chefs down to the wait staff. Any participating staff would only need to open up their doors as Chef Atoi even markets and promotes her pop-up brunches and dinners through Event Brite.
Does this work? Well, the Sunday Simple Brunch was very well attended and might I add there were so many beautiful people that showed up and raved over the tasty menu. What I love about Chef Atoi’s food is that it also tastes as good as it looks.
Prior to finishing Culinary School Chef Atoi was a national print model published in several magazines. She modeled to self fund her culinary school classes. Chef Atoi set out her goals and currently is living out her dream. “Being a chef is a lot of work. I arrived at 6 a.m. to make sure everything was up to par at the restaurant. I chose to host my pop up brunch because it’s important to me that regardless of where we are that everything is up to standard. Decor is very important to my brand. Delivering a great product and good aesthetics is very important period in the food service industry,” says Chef Atoi.
