Mariah Carey’s fairytale romance, sadly, came to an abrupt and crushing end this week when it was revealed that she and her ex-fiancé, James Packer, called it quits on their engagement. Understandably, rumors are flying about asking why the super-rich couple split up, but one rumor in particular is gaining lots of traction in the headlines and that’s reports that Carey cheated on Packer with another man. However, according to sources, don’t believe everything you read about Carey’s sex life.
As previously reported, a rep for the singer said that Carey and Packer ended their 10-month engagement after a major fight during a recent vacation in Greece.
“The fight was not because of any cheating allegations or excessive spending by Mariah. James is one of the most successful businessmen in the world. They are trying to work it out. Right now, they’re not sure if they will stay together. They are discussing it, and plan to release an official statement together about their future,” the rep said.
But despite the rep’s claims, rumors have still been flying that Carey had a side relationship with her choreographer Bryan Tanaka.
According to sources close to Carey, the rumors about her alleged infidelity are false because Carey is a “traditional girl” and refuses to have sex with a man before she ties the knot.
Sources say that Carey and Packer have never had sex and that they act like horny teenagers because their intimacy stops at making out and heavy petting.
Even Carey’s famous ex-husband, Nick Cannon, has said in a previous interview that they were celibate before their quickie wedding.
Not surprisingly, sources are saying the reason Packer wanted to marry Carey so quickly was because he wanted to have sex with her. But considering the turmoil they’re in right now, it looks like both of them are going home empty handed to empty sheets.
