The Democratic Party continues to experience mishaps days before the 2016 presidential election. According to a recent WikiLeaks email leak, Democratic Party Chairwoman Donna Brazile shared questions with Clinton’s camp that would be asked at a debate against Bernie Sanders.
The debate was hosted in Flint, Michigan, following the water crisis where government officials knew that the water was poisoned by lead. Brazil revealed to the Clinton campaign that a woman with a rash would ask how Hillary would help the people of Flint. The leaked question comes after it was revealed that Brazile leaked another question to the Clinton campaign in March. In the email exchange, Brazile revealed that she often gets questions in advance. When the first email initially surfaced, Brazile suspended herself from her CNN contract.
Brazile fired back by claiming that Russian hackers were out to destroy the credibility of Clinton and the Democratic Party.
But following the recent leak, CNN decided to fire Brazile. In a statement, the network wrote, “We are completely uncomfortable with what we learned about [Brazile’s] interactions with the Clinton campaign while she was a CNN contributor.
For the last two weeks, the Clinton campaign has been marred by several email scandals. FBI Director, James Comey, revealed that more questionable incidents occurred in regards to Clinton’s emails. Comey has yet to reveal the info, but his stance has caused a backlash because of him releasing it days before the election.
Although Clinton has flaws, she is still the most qualified to be president. Donald Trump has shown a lack of common sense when it comes to dealing with important issues. If Trump is elected president, he would essentially become America’s greatest threat.
