Almost Christmas is a touching and compelling film. Writing and production duo David E. Talbert and his wife Lyn create realistic images of Black families. This time around, the combo included Will “Power” Packer to make this dynamic production team complete.
At the red carpet premiere for the film, Lyn shared that Packer was a blessing to them because,”Will just came in and took care of things we didn’t have to even think about. He gave us our dream cast. Danny Glover was our first choice and so was Mo’Nique for those two roles. Everyone we asked for, Will Packer made it happen. David was able to write and we were able to be creative and focus on what we do best without worrying about anything that would have taken us out of our creative space, thanks to Will Packer.”
At the premiere, David also interacted with the media and cast. The tight relationships formed between cast members was apparent.
