As fans know far too well, the “Rhythm Nation” songstress has remained completely silent on the social media platform since August, amid reports she was facing some health issues, surrounding the upcoming birth of her first child with husband Wissam Al Mana.
As previously reported, in September, sources close to the pair claimed that the 50-year-old had ballooned to over 250 pounds, placing her at risk of developing gestational diabetes, a condition that increases the risk of pre-eclampsia, depression, and possible Caesarean section. In the weeks following the initial health scare, a second source revealed that the star’s condition appeared to be improving, telling E! News, “She is doing OK and resting until she is due for her baby.” The insider added, “[Janet] is aware of complications, but as of now doctors say she is OK.”
In spite of it all, an insider recently told the entertainment news outlet that “The doctors said she is doing well and [told her] just to take it easy.” Our insider explained, “She is due very, very soon,” adding that Janet “can’t wait to have the baby.”
In the meantime, rumor has it, Jackson plans to honor her late brother, Michael Jackosn, by giving her unborn babe a name that has something to do with the late King of Pop. Congrats again to the expectant couple.
