Donald Glover’s ‘Atlanta,’ ‘Moonlight’ win Golden Globe Awards; complete list

Donald Glover’s FX series “Atlanta” won two Golden Globe Awards: “Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy” and for “Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy” at the 74th annual event held live at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif. “Transparent,” “Black-ish,” “Veep,” and “Mozart in the Jungle” were also nominated for the award.

Glover is also nominated The show will return for a second season. During his acceptance speech, Glover said, “I’d like to thank the Migos—not for being on the show, but for making ‘Bad and Boujee.’ Like, that’s the best song… ever.” He also thanked the city of Atlanta; watch his acceptance speech below.


“I really just want to thank Atlanta and all the black folks in Atlanta, like ferreal. Just for being alive and being amazing people. I couldn’t be here without Atlanta,” he began. Then he thanked Migos on the Golden Globe stage.

“I really wanna thank the Migos, not for being in the show, but for making “Bad and Boujee.” That’s the best song ever.”
