Denzel Washington
The Academy Award-winning actor of films such as Training Day and Malcolm X, grew up in the Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon. While many of Washington’s childhood friends ended up in prison, Washington chose a different path, which he’s credited the Club for in the past.
