An alleged “man of God” was caught having sex with a married church member and was forced to flee her home naked. According to WMAZ, the incident involved Pastor O. Jermaine Simmons who is a church leader at Jacob Chapel church in Tallahassee, Florida.
Pastor Simmons decided to visit the married church member who was at home alone while her children were at school and her husband was at work. During his visit to the home, Pastor Simmons and the woman began having sex in a bed that belonged to the woman’s daughter. But while they were having sex, the woman’s youngest son became ill at school. Her husband decided to get their child and take him home so that he could rest.
However, when the woman’s husband opened the door, he caught her having sex with Pastor Simmons. Without grabbing any clothes, Pastor Simmons ran from the home naked while others could see him at that Sienna Square apartments.
The woman’s husband grabbed his gun and began chasing Pastor Simmons who eventually hid while still naked. When the woman’s husband could not find Pastor Simmons, he decided to keep his car keys and clothes. Fearing that her husband could possibly kill Pastor Simmons, the woman called police. Once authorities arrived, they eventually negotiated a truce so that Pastor Simmons could receive his clothes.
Pastor Simmons, who is also married with a son, apologized to his congregation for the sexual relations with a married woman. But it’s another case where a church leader has abused his power without repercussion.
In early January, Rev. Hosea Stubblefield refused to step down as church leader of Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Houston after it was discovered that he made sex tapes.
Pastor Simmons received a standing ovation after revealing his sexual issues to members of the church.
