Congrats are in order for superstar rapper Nicki Minaj.
While the rapper’s year certainly didn’t get off to a great start (ahem shEther), the self-titled “Queen of rap,” still has checks rolling in. The “Anaconda” recording artist, recently inked a major modeling deal with Wilhelmina International Inc.’s celebrity division.

“We’re thrilled to work alongside Nicki Minaj and her team. She is a style pioneer and icon,” said Wilhelmina CEO Bill Wackermann.
Of course, this isn’t the first time the larger-than-life personality has used her infamous curves to hawk designer goods. She’s also served as the face of brands such as Roberto Cavalli. The 34-year-old has also served as a muse for edgy photographers such as Mario Testino, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. Needless to say, Minaj won’t exclusively be turning heads on the red carpet.

While attending the 2016 Met Gala, the “Turn Me On” singer channeled her inner sex kitten in a barely-there ensemble created by street wear designer Jeremy Scott for his collaboration with Moschino. The sheer, floor-length gown, encrusted with rhinestone buckles — accentuating her shoulders, mid-section, waist and wrists — certainly isn’t something just anyone could pull off!
“Oh yea. That too. Thank you #Vogue for breaking this story,” Minaj shared via Instagram on Tuesday night, March 28, after news of her deal broke. “Honored to be at #Wilhelmina.”
Other celebrities signed to Wilhelmina include Ciara, Nick Jonas; singers Shawn Mendes, Demi Lovato, and Olympic fencer Race Imboden. few. You better work! Are you feeling Minaj as America’s next top model? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
