Chicago gang leader Thaddeus “T.J.” Jimenez was a multimillionaire. He was awarded $25 million from the city of Chicago when his 1993 murder conviction was vacated. But during his time in prison at the Metropolitan Correctional Center, the notorious criminal and jailhouse top dog was treated to strip shows performed by naked woman gyrating on the roof of a parking garage across from the federal jail in downtown Chicago. According to him, the women would hold signs during their lewd routine that read “Free T.J.” He also says he wasn’t paying the women, they were simply doing it to show love. To express their gratitude, inmates in the 27-story jail flicker their lights on and off. You can see the light show in the video on this post.
Even after Jimenez was released, the shows continued. According to the Chicago Sun Times, the decades-long vulgarity can’t be stopped by the Federal Bureau of Prisons which runs the facility with the gawkers, not the building where the gyrators perform. The audience is not limited to the inmates, residents in the high-rise apartment nearby and corporate professionals in the Monadnock Building have witnessed the performances.
The women don’t always just dance, they sometimes perform sex acts on each other.
This past March, Jimenez was sentenced to more than nine years in federal prison in a Chicago court for possession of a gun he used to shoot a man in the legs in August 2015. He is taking up residence at the Kendall County Jail while awaiting trial, so there will be no strip tease for him for a while.
