In an effort to make a difference, Rihanna used Twitter to urge world leaders to #FundEducation through the Global Partnership for Education.
Beginning with Mauricio Macri, the president of Argentina, and then moving on to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and French President Emmanuel Macron, among others, the pop star tweeted up a storm with suggestions on how leaders should pay it forward in the form of Benjamin’s — in the name of education, of course.
hey there @mauriciomacri, what’s your plan for Argentina to commit to #FundEducation? ??

?? @JustinTrudeau I know you had our backs during the #GlobalCitizen Festival, will you recommit Canada to #FundEducation?

It wasn’t long before fans chimed in, suggesting that, due to Rih’s long history of epic clapbacks and shady tweets, a timely response.

in September 2016, Rihanna joined GPE as its first global ambassador. “I feel strongly that all children everywhere should be afforded the opportunity of a quality education. Therefore, I’m proud to announce Clara Lionel Foundation’s partnership with education advocacy leaders like the Global Partnership for Education and Global Citizen. Working together, I know we can amplify our efforts and ensure that millions of children gain access to education globally,” she said in a statement.
