It seems as though Kelela just popped up on the music scene and took it by storm. Hailing from Washington D.C, Kelela’s music can be compared to a mix of Solange, Nao, and Björk’s music with her alternative R&B and electronic tracks. With her debut album Take Me Apart, Kelela has managed to create a new and inviting space for her music and fans. Not only is this songbird making her own place in music, she’s also paving her way in fashion by appearing in Calvin Klein latest campaign alongside Solange.
