Last month, Terry Crews joined a long list of Hollywood actors who decided to publicly reveal that they have been the victims of sexual assault at the hands of many Hollywood executives and agents. For Crews, being one of the few men to share his assault story was likely already difficult but now the actor has shared some frightening news as he claims that his attacker is having his family tracked and bugged.

As previously reported, Crews filed a police report and a lawsuit against Adam Venit, the head of the Motion Picture Department at WME, claiming that last year Venit came over to him at a party and “groped my privates.” Since then, Crews remained in the headlines as he later revealed that mogul Russell Simmons, who has also been accused by other celebs of sexual assault, sent him an email asking him to drop his case against Venit.

As mentioned in the lawsuit, Crews feared that Venit would seek revenge against him for publicly accusing him of sexual assault and this weekend Crews went on Twitter and claimed that the retaliation has begun as he believes that Venit is tracking and bugging him and his family.

“My assailant Adam Venit is the founding partner at @WME, a corporation worth over $8 billion. I believe my family is being tracked and possibly bugged. I also believe @unclerush was asked to pressure me into dropping my case by @WME execs. Somehow they thought he was the ‘King of Black people’. Someone hacked into the computer my son and I built together. I have to shut it down and replace the hard drive,” Crews said in a series of tweets.

He went on to explain that he was warned by police that Venit might retaliate and Crews gave a grim warning that something may happen to him.

“LAPD task force detectives let me know these people don’t play fair. There are a lot of secrets to protect, and they will do anything to keep them. The town is compromised. But me, and my team, are not. If I were to have a timely ‘accident’ — you know where to look. Retaliation in some form is expected- I would be naive to think otherwise…But vulnerability and openness is actually my best protection. I’m ready,” Crews continued in a series of tweets.

Considering how much money and influence these Hollywood executives have, we can’t say that we’d be surprised if Venit does have the power to have Crews’ family bugged and tracked. We hope this does not take a turn for the worse but what do you think of Crews’ statements? Let us know in the comments.
