Wendy Williams is picking off bigger targets these days on her daily talk show. Instead of beating down run-of-the-mill, C-level urbanite celebrities, she has now trained her sights on the first family of the United States.
Williams, 53, slammed Donald and Melania Trump’s marriage, claiming that it is a loveless union and one that was created for convenience for the former Russian model.
When she discussed the Jan. 30 State of the Union, Williams did not go into detail about the contents of Trump’s speech, but opted instead to describe the Trump household as a love-free zone.
She touched upon Trump’s alleged affair with porn star Stormy Daniels, saying “Stormy Daniels is going on tour. … And, this has got to be thoroughly embarrassing for Melania.”
Not that Melania Trump is an innocent bystander in all of this. She helped create this alleged mess, Williams theorizes.
“All she [Melania] wanted was a green card and a baby and look at what has happened … I wonder if they’ll get a divorce once he leaves the White House … I’m sure it’s a marriage of convenience. I’m sure they haven’t had sex in, you know, years, since Barron,’ the host concluded.
The Trump marriage has been an object of fascination for reporters and bloggers alike ever since Trump became a legitimate candidate for the presidency back in 2015. There have been several instances where Melania Trump, in particular, did something demonstrative that gave the media enough meat to chew on, such as when she twice slapped Donald Trump’s hand away when he tried to grab her hand during official events.
Williams was not finished with the topic entirely as she moved on to the porn star Stormy Daniels while she was talking about her appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Jan. 30. She called her a “dusty looking throwback porn star.”
Regarding the State of the Union subject, this was the first time that Melania Trump showed up at a significant event in a separate vehicle than her husband. Trump and his wife have not been spotted together in public since New Year’s Eve.
