Drake irks the hell out of me, but right now I can say he’s my favorite rapper. A few weeks ago, the rap crooner dropped a two-song EP called Scary Hours. The song “Diplomatic Immunity” broke streaming records but, in my opinion, the song “God’s Plan” is the standout single.

Drake recently dropped the video for “God’s Plan.” The video opens with a statement: “The Budget for this video was $996,631.90. WE GAVE IT ALL AWAY. Don’t tell the label.” Therein lies the beauty of this video. Drake spends his time blessing residents of Miami with money. He bought groceries for a supermarket full of people, blessed a high school student with a $50K scholarship and did a few other super generous and amazing things.

Drake has been relatively quiet since July of last year, but 2018 has proven to be quite different. He’s dropped a guest verse on “Walk it Like I Talk It” on the Migos’ latest release Culture II. “Look Alive” by BlocBoy JB and Drake is currently streaming everywhere and the people are anticipating the new album.

The video was filmed in Miami over a course of three days. Drake had this to say via Instagram: “Last 3 days were the best I have had in a very long time…there’s nothing like seeing people experience a joyful moment when you can tell they need it the most.”

Say what you want about this Canadian child star turned American rap star, one thing you must add is that his heart is in the right place.

Miami came up on this one; let’s pray these good vibes spread across the nation.

Peep the video below. Get your tissues out for this one, cause it’s a tearjerker.
