Donald Glover, aka Childish Gambino, is hitting the road with the dynamic hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd for a tour in the United States.
This will be Childish Gambino’s first time on the road for his latest Grammy-nominated studio project, Awaken, My Love!
Rae Sremmurd will also be performing their music along with a plethora of new music as well as Swae Lee’s and Slim Jxmmi’s individual projects.
This might the last time fans of Glover see him perform as Childish Gambino. Earlier this year, the entertainer stated that he plans to retire from his rap career.
At a Q-and-A ceremony for the Grammy Awards, he said, “ I’m still making another project right now. But I like endings. I think they’re important to progress.”
The tour will begin in Glover’s hometown Atlanta, which is also the title of his television show, on Sept. 6. Then, he will travel along with Rae Sremmurd for shows in the United States and Canada.
