After becoming a viral sensation with her hilarious “Bonnet Chronicles” series on Instagram, former “Basketball Wives” star, Tami Roman, introduced a new version of the highly successful series to TIDAL on Thursday (4/5) at 12pm ET. She’s joining a host of other popular content creators on a robust visual ecosystem of original video content and films beyond music videos and live streams.
Executive produced by Roman and Ernest Dukes, the “Bonnet Chronicles” on TIDAL is a bi-weekly scripted mini web series based upon Tami Roman’s Instagram persona, “Petty Betty,” and her wacky family. The series follows Betty as she tries to keep her life afloat, manage family relationships and jump start her fledgling comedy career, which ultimately leads to the birth of the “Bonnet!”
In the first episode, Betty (played by Tami Roman), a single mom, and her son, Kenny, have fallen on hard times and are forced to reckon with their new reality.
