People keep sticking a microphone in the face of Nicki Minaj’s ex-boyfriend, rapper Safaree, and then have the audacity to be surprised by some of the things that spill out of his mouth.

Why do they keep asking Safaree questions? Probably because he is going to answer.

Safaree stopped by Big Boy’s morning show because he was invited yet again to another radio station — despite having virtually no rap career and a less-than-lukewarm reality show career. And he hardly stuttered when the namesake host asked what he thought about Nicki’s recent singles.

The Pink Barbie dropped both “Barbie Tingz” and “Chun Li” to the delight of her fans who’d become concerned by her six-month moratorium from social media platforms and traditional press outlets.

Despite fans lauding Minaj’s new joints, Safaree, conversely, says was not feeling her long-awaited sonic products.

“Man, that’s not me. I don’t … I don’t … That’s not something I would listen to,” Safaree said. “It’s just … whatever. And I’m, like, just being honest. I’m not being a hater or nothing like that.”

He then went on to praise Cardi B for being super likable.

“With Cardi, people love her so much as a person that, even if her music was not as good as it [is], it still would have been ‘Bravo! You did it!'”

Safaree continued driving home his point as if he were speaking directly to Nicki Minaj.

“In this day and age, your personality is 80 percent of you being an artist.”

Do you think Safaree is being extra salty or is his opinion on point?
