Atlanta played host to this year’s BMI R&B Hip-Hop Awards on Thursday, Aug. 30, to honor the top artists in the music recording industry. Songwriters, music producers and publishers all congregated inside Atlanta Symphony Hall at the Woodruff Arts Center in Midtown for one of the biggest nights in music.
A-list celebrities in attendance included Keri Hilson, Jussie Smollett, Teyana Taylor, Tamar Braxton, Ludacris and many more. While the music was the main attraction, several stars also created signature fashion moments on the red carpet.
Here is a sample of some of the looks we loved from the 2018 BMI R&B Hip-Hop Awards.
Llyod rocked a casual look, wearing a graphic tee with the message “It’s a Woman’s World,” jeans and sneakers.
Marlo wore a fabulous cream gown with a silver pointed-toe shoe. Nene sported a black two-piece skirt set with slits and a black high-heeled sandal with furry straps.
Jussie sported a loosely buttoned green shirt, brown pants and a printed scarf draped over his shoulders.
Keri Hilson sported an all-black boho chic look, accessorizing with chunky jewelry and a great hat. I love when she wears long braids.
Keishia Knight Pulliam kept it cute and classy in a red cocktail dress accentuated with silver accessories.
Staying true to her purple unicorn mantra, singer Justine Skye always incorporated her signature color into her look, pairing a purple and black checkered print top with a pink and white checkered print skirt.
Rapper Dreezy hit the red carpet dressed in a black leather skirt and jacket with feather accents, a black top and black strappy sandal heels.
