Lottery Day is the culmination of playwright Ike Holter’s  seven-play “Rightlynd Saga” series that tackles, among other themes, gentrification in Chicago’s fictional 51st Ward. Rolling out went behind-the-scenes to Chicago’s Goodman Theatre rehearsal room to chat with director Lili-Anne Brown and cast members J. Nicole Brooks and McKenzie Chinn to get their perspective on the play as they prepared for opening night. Lottery Day runs April 8 – April 28 at The Goodman Theatre.
