Tameka “Tiny” Harris has released her a new single, “I F–kin <3 U.”

In the song, Harris opens up about some of the relationship woes she’s experienced in her nearly 19-year marriage with husband  T.I.

The single features Harris’ well-known R & B vibe coupled with an alluring sound composed of high and low notes that speak to her love and pain.

The song opens, “Lately you’ve been testing my patience / ’cause I’m a damn good situation / where you gonna go better than this? From the house to the cars to the kids, s—/ Me and you supposed to be together / because when it’s good ain’t nothing better/ If you gonna keep giving up, I’m gonna let you see they can never be me/ because I f—ing love you, you can get it however you want to.”

The song continues, “It happened now we can’t turn back the hands of time and I don’t care who knows that I f—ing love you.”

Harris has been in the public eye since her days with the R&B girl group Xscape. It’s never easy to have people judge your relationship and everything you do. I love this record because I appreciate her vulnerability as a woman and an artist. She is addressing things on her own terms. I love the message she is sending about the power of love because no relationship comes without trials.

No matter if it there is a problem with the relationship between you and your parents, friends or significant other, time and love heals all things. That’s the message I take from this single, and I think many women will be able to relate to her.

This is only the beginning for Harris, who will be releasing her highly anticipated EP in the coming months. It’s expected to include more deep songs about life and love and also feature her alter ego, Ryder.
