Master P is already a legend and a pioneer who helped break the city of New Orleans onto the hip hop scene during the golden age of rap in the 1990s. Now the music mogul, 49, and his rapper-actor son Romeo, 29, are looking to carve out the same-sized niche in the shoe apparel game.

Basketball marvel Zion Williamson, who is just 18, but was overwhelmingly voted as the National Player of the Year in his freshman year at Duke University, is being offered an obscene set of deals if he follows through and plays for the New Orleans Pelicans. Williamson was chosen with the Pelicans’ No. 1 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft in April.

According to TMZ Sports, Master P and Romeo are offering the most ballyhooed amateur b-baller since LeBron James a role in one of their upcoming movies. They said they’ll also hand Williamson $20M deal to wear their signature shoes — but only if Williamson actually goes to NOLA.

“I have a beautiful idea. We need to get Zion in I Got The Hook-Up 3,” Romeo told TMZ Sports.

The father and son were tracked down in Los Angeles when they expressed they already have plans for Williamson to get screen time in the follow up to the upcoming flick I Got The Hook-Up 2. The comedy will star the likes of rapper Jeezy and comedians Michael Blackson, A.J. Johnson and D.C. Young Fly.

However, it was Master P’s offer to wear a pair of sneakers from his shoe company, MoneYatti, that raised eyebrows — and Master P said Williamson only has to wear the shoes off the court.

“I know Zion gonna get a big shoe deal from Nike or Adidas or whatever. We gonna get him a deal just to have to wear shoes outside of basketball,” he told the entertainment publication. “Just to wear it on the side, not in the game, I’m saying $20” (as in $20M).
