Another member of Stephen Curry’s family has been harassed by Toronto Raptors fans. This time, his mother was met with disrespect.

The incident occurred outside of Curry’s family’s hotel before Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Monday, June 10, 2019, with the Raptors up 3-1 against the Golden State Warriors in the series. Stephen Curry’s parents, Sonya and Dell Curry, were leaving the hotel when Raptors fans began yelling expletives.

One fan yelled “F– you!” several times at Sonya Curry as she continued to walk with her husband, who remained silent as they were being heckled. The video has since gone viral.

It’s the second incident that occurred during the NBA Finals with Curry’s family.

On June 2 during Game 2 of the NBA Finals, Ayesha Curry was heckled on live TV. A CP24 news reporter interviewed several Raptors fans after the game. During the live interview, Tristan Warkentin, 28, was asked for his reaction to the game.

Warkentin yelled, “The vibe was unreal, and I just want to let everyone know: Ayesha Curry, we’re gonna f— her right in the p—-.”

The video clip eventually went viral. Warkentin reportedly received death threats following the incident.

On June 6, Warkentin was arrested by Toronto police for criminal mischief because authorities say he knew his comments would be aired on live TV.
