The American Black Film Festival (ABFF), held June 12 – June 16 in Miami Beach, FL, kicked off its opening night film ‘SHAFT’ with a star studded red carpet premiere. Directed by Tim Story, this multi-generational action/comedy film is one of the most highly anticipated films of the 2019 summer series.
Rolling out was on the scene and talked to some of the film’s hottest celebrities including the original Shaft himself, Richard Roundtree, the most recent Shaft Samuel L. Jackson and the newest Shaft, Jessie T. Usher. We also spoke to the director Tim Story, as well as Cliff ‘Method Man’ Smith, Luna Lauren Velez and more. Check it out.
