Ari Lennox served as the headlining act of the opening night of BET’s “House of BET” at Essence Festival.
The reception, which took place on July 5, featured a performance from Lennox who sang her hit, “Shea Butter Baby.”
The three-day activation will feature exclusive screenings of BET shows such as “The First Wives Club,” and “Tales” on July 6. The activation will conclude with a “Sunday’s Best” brunch and BET Her script reading.
