Because when you have these belief systems, consciously or subconsciously, they send out an energy frequency into the world that you don’t want money. This can cause you to be self-sabotaging, self-destructive and just in a state of lacking.
If you believe in the law of attraction, then you know that you attract what you think about. If you’re focused on money not being intended for you or have other negative beliefs about money, you are ultimately focusing on a lack of money even if you consciously know you need it. When this happens, it’s time to take control of your thoughts.
Ask yourself the following questions:
1. In your mind, what does a typical person look or act like who has a lot of money?
2. What are my beliefs around money?
3. Why do I want more money?
If you find that through answering these questions, you have a negative view of money, it’s time to fix your mindset into one of abundance. Money doesn’t dictate the type of person you are. Let’s face it: we need it to live comfortably.
What you do with your money and who you become when you get it are entirely up to you. There is no box to fit in. You can decide what that looks like.
To change your mindset, begin with the following affirmation on a daily basis: “I allow money into my life.” Feel it. Mean it. Believe it. And then put actions behind it.
This will change the frequency of the energy you put out to begin attracting money instead of repelling it. Do this, and continue your grind and you will begin to see the difference.
