Femdot. embraces the art of storytelling. The Chicago native finds unique ways to illustrate his past struggles and optimistic future on his latest EP, 94 Camry Music.

The 20-minute project unfolds like a short film as femdot. takes listeners on a journey through his teen years as he drives his mother’s 1994 Toyota Camry around the city of Chicago. The story begins in the 2010s as femdot. borrows the Camry and takes it on a joyride with the hopes of bringing the car back before his mother returns.

The album 94 Camry Music opens with “I’m Broke/Parked Car Conversation” after femdot. meets a girl and the two begin an intense dialogue while seated inside the vehicle. He raps:

But first, turn the music up louder
I got some questions I gotta
Ask you if you don’t mind?
You got emotional problems?
What’s your relationship with ya father?
Last time talked to ya momma?
You talk about stains a lot, what type things where you into?
What type of people you vent to?
What made you this way?
When you say okay, is you lying, or you really okay?”
