New Jersey educator Carl Brister creates homeschooling guide for parents

How do you think this has impacted the way parents appreciate educators and school systems?

For a lot of people, this is their first personal experience with what teachers do daily. They’re now getting to appreciate all the work, time and effort that our teachers have to put in to make sure all children learn and grow.

Tell us about your upcoming song “L.O.V.E” and the important message behind it?

[It comes] out on April 24 … and that’s really what we need right now. If you’re homeschooling as a parent, do it in love, right to your kids and with love and love them through this time as we all [experience] anxiety and concern and worry. Love one another as we go to the stores and consider not hoarding everything. Give our elderly the time they need to get things. “L.O.V.E” is about what’s going on in the world.
