With an insatiable hook sung by Nate Dogg, Snoop took this round against the vigorous DMX.

Round 12

DMX “What These B—–s Want” and Snoop Dogg feat. Pharrell and Charlie Wilson “Beautiful”

Snoop’s “Beautiful” is a classic love song that’s perfect music while on a picnic with your significant other. However, DMX’s “What These B—–s Want” recently found new life as a social media challenge.

Winner: DMX

Round 13

DMX “How’s It Goin’ Down” and Snoop Dogg “Pump Pump”

Snoop made sure to go back to Doggystyle with the lyrical “Pump Pump.” But DMX won this round with his love letter to a woman he desires on “How’s It Goin’ Down.”

Winner: DMX

Round 14

DMX “It’s All Good” and Dr. Dre feat. Snoop Dogg “B—–s Ain’t S—“

Snoop won this round by reaching back to grab this gem from The Chronic album. Although misogynistic by today’s standards, the vibe is undeniable.

Winner: Snoop

Round 15

DMX “Slippin'” and Snoop Dogg “Murder Was the Case”

One of the most heartfelt moments of the battle, DMX and Snoop both talked about how these songs were instances where they “wrote their pain.” For that alone, both won this round.

Winner: Tie

Round 16

DMX “N—-z Done Started Something”  and Snoop Dogg feat. The Dramatics & Tha Dogg Pound “Doggy Dogg World”

DMX comes through with another vicious verse, but it’s hard to disregard Snoop’s classic with the soulful group, The Dramatics.

Winner: Snoop

Round 17

DMX “4,3,2,1,” and Snoop Dogg feat. The Eastsidaz’s “I Luv It”

DMX was a part of one of the greatest lyrical collaborations in hip-hop history with LL Cool J’s “4,3,2,1.” Snoop’s “I Luv It” could not compete.

Winner: DMX

Round 18

DMX “Money, Power & Respect” and 50 Cent feat. Snoop Dogg “P.I.M.P. Remix”

DMX came through with another aggressive song with “Money, Power & Respect.” Another odd choice by Snoop as he takes the “L” this round.

Winner: DMX

Round 19

DMX “Ruff Ryders’ Anthem” and Dr. Dre feat. Snoop Dogg “Nuthin’ But a ‘G’ Thang”

Both songs where tremendous hits when they were released. Snoop pulled another classic from The Chronic, and DMX’s  “Ruff Ryders’ Anthem” ushered in the Ruff Ryders era.

Winner: Tie

Round 20

DMX “Party Up (Up in Here)” vs. Snoop Dogg feat. Pharrell “Drop It Like It’s Hot”

Again, two massive hits that were significant in their own right, but DMX’s “Party Up” wins by a close margin.

Winner: DMX

Final score: Snoop, 9; DMX, 8; Ties: 3
