Walk me into the room where you scored the deal for DeAaron Fox. How did that play out?
Well, it’s not like you see in the movies where somebody’s sitting at the end of a long table – they have one end and you have one, sliding a paper across the table. It’s not like that. I’m very detailed. I’m very, very specific on why he’s worth … a max contract. It’s my job, I’ll put together maybe a 15-page document, showing stats, analytics, comparisons against past players who have received max contracts and project his value [from there].
