Timberlake seemingly allowed Jackson to take the brunt of the public outrage in 2004 and her career was stunted. It may have also delayed her entry into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, enraging throngs of Jackson fans.
In 2021, Timberlake apologized to both Jackson and Spears for his behavior and mindset near the turn of the century. Not long thereafter, Timberlake’s manager urged Jackson to finally forgive him.
The reawakening of this decades-old scandal prompted Lukas to come forward with this previously unknown tidbit.
Lukas says Jackson has long forgiven Timberlake.
“Janet has already forgiven Justin in private. They made their peace a long time ago,” he said.
Lukas said this is all part of a tell-all book he is finishing up, though he will reveal no more Jackson secrets. “I’ll never throw her under the bus. She’s my friend and is one of the loveliest people I’ve ever worked for. There’s nothing shady about her,” he said.
