Reid also said that he and his partner, Christopher “Play” Martin, haven’t been asked yet to be a part of the project, but he’s still excited about the updated version of House Party.
“No, not at this particular point, but I just know whatever they’re going to do with it, it’s going to be fresh. It’s going to put a new energy, a new coat of paint on it, and I’m a LeBron fan, period. Particular with the stuff that he does off the court and the business moves he’s been making out here in LA. He aligns himself with cool stuff and hires cutting-edge people, so they’re going to be fine. If we’re a part of it, that’ll be awesome in some kind of way, but if not, that’ll get me back to the movie theater. I’ll get my popcorn. I’m Kid from Kid ‘N Play and I approve this House Party,” he joked.
