Racquel Palmer, the actress who famously took out a billboard ad right next to Tyler Perry Studios in order to get the movie mogul’s attention in 2017, is now the lead actress in his latest TV series.
Despite the fact that Tyler Perry gave Palmer a tongue-lashing for her imprudent audacity, and admonished the public against duplicating Palmer’s actions, the bold move appears to have paid off.
Palmer explained in a TMZ TV interview that she is now one of the lead actresses in the upcoming murkey television drama “All the Queen’s Men.”
The married mother of two plays alongside a sordid character named Madame, played by former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Eva Marcille, who is the owner of a male strip club. Palmer’s character is “Blue,” who is the head of security and watches over Madame as she engages in all sorts of devious dealings — and, of course, carries out Madame’s bidding.
Palmer is already acclimated to Perry’s sets and operating procedure having appeared in the hit BET drama “Sistas” in 2019, a few years after being noticed by Perry in “The Night Of” back in 2016.
Perry is operating in his customary duties as producer and director of “All the Queen’s Men.” But interestingly enough, actor Christian Keyes is the creator of the series and is listed as the writer.
Keyes is currently the star of Perry’s “Saints & Sinners” and also appeared in Madea Goes to Jail back in 2006.
