T.I. and Will Smith celebrated their birthdays on Sept. 25 as they turned 41 and 53, respectively, this year. The King of the South took time out to send a little birthday love to the Philly O.G. as their transitioning careers from rapping to acting mirror each other and revealed that “The Fresh Prince” star was highly instrumental in his Hollywood emergence.
“Happy Gday to my 9/25 brother @willsmith thanx for stepping up and believing in me as a first time actor, telling WB you wouldn’t make the movie if I wasn’t in it. That film went on to become ATL. I’m thankful for you & your mentorship over the years. Enjoy the day & Live it UP (as if you must tell a n——a this rich to do so🤦🏽♂️) Libra Scales on deck ⚖️⚖️⚖️⚖️⚖️⚖️⚖️Happy Birthday Big Bro!!!! ♎️♎️9/25ers👑👑,” T.I. posted on Instagram.

While details of the upcoming show are being kept under wraps, a clip has surfaced that features his son King displaying his acting chops as a young teen hustling water. T.I. also shared footage of him coaching his son on the set as he prepares him to one day sit on the throne himself.
