Kodak Black had the Internet buzzing once again when footage surfaced earlier this month of the rapper appearing to touch his mom inappropriately and grab her by the buttocks. In the clip, Kodak Black and his mother Marcelene Simmons, are seen sharing a dance to Rutshelle Guillaumes’ “M Pa La Ankò” at a birthday celebration party that was reportedly for the rapper’s brother. The scene then turns awkward as Kodak grabs his mother’s butt and also attempts to kiss her near her mouth as they both laugh off their playful banter.
Kodak finally addressed the video on Saturday, Oct. 23, on Instagram Live and shut down the conversations about his behavior.
“How you expect to love a b—– if you don’t love your ole girl, so like that’s my ole girl. She ain’t tripping. When I see my mama, homie, I adore her, homie. I kiss her feet, homie, what you talkin’ bout boy… Some of you n——- don’t even holla at your mama. Some of you n—— don’t even call your mama, homie. She is not tripping.’ I don’t give a f—- what you talking bout, n——… I grabbed my mama because I treat my mama like my lady, That’s my queen, n——” he told the audience.
The “No Flockin’” rapper further explained his actions and shut down the incest rumors.
“I don’t f—- my mama, we ain’t doing no crazy s—. I grab her, like I make her feel real beautiful. I remind my mama, ‘You beautiful, I’m f—– up bout you ma, I’m in love with you,’ ” he said.
