Do you have plans to put out new music anytime soon?
I am cooking. This has been the first time in a long time that my pen is just flowing. Whether people understand it or not I’ve always thought of myself as a writer first, so if I don’t have anything to write, there’s no reason for me to sing, one thing begats the other. I found some great musicians, some great producers that give me water to swim and I’ve been waiting for that. I always get beats from producers and no disrespect to anyone but I need something a little different. I need something that has emotion from the very first note and I’ve found that, so I’m excited.
The first “Highway to Heaven” movie premieres on Saturday, Nov. 6 at 8 p.m. EDT on Lifetime.
