Will Smith’s hand may have helped Chris Rock for the next few months of 2022.
A day after Smith slapped Rock at the Oscars, ticket prices for Rock’s Ego Death World Tour have skyrocketed. He’ll kick off his tour on April 2, but will stop at Boston’s Wilbur Theatre beforehand for a few shows.
According to Variety news, ticket prices for his tour rose from a minimum of $46 per ticket on March 18 to a minimum of $341 since the Academy Awards.
A ticketing marketplace called TickPick announced on March 28 that they had sold more tickets overnight to see Chris Rock than they did in the past month combined.
