Steph Curry just won his fourth championship this past season, and you can tell this one just felt different. Toward the final seconds of the game, you could see the emotion on his face, and the excitement in the locker room with his teammates.
In a recent interview with Ashley Nicole Moss, Curry explained why this championship is his most special one.
“You don’t find me ugly crying on the court for no reason,” Curry said. “That raw emotion that came after Game 6 kind of signaled how much this meant to me, how much this meant to our team.”

Curry then detailed his emotions after his first three championships.
“The first one, you don’t really know what you’re doing until you accomplish it, and then you’re celebrating,” Curry said. “The next two were kind of validation, trying to remain champions. But after the last three years and winning that one, [2022] is definitely the most special.”
Moss then asked Curry if he’d trade his last championship for the two that he won with Kevin Durant.
“I want this one,” Curry said with no hesitation. “Give me this one all day, every day.”
