The founder of Perfect 10 Mixology Service, Jennifer Peeples. Peeples is a master mixologist, entrepreneur, and beverage consultant, and now participants in the Take Over, a one-of-a-kind mixology event. She is celebrated for elevating experiences with her unique drink mixes and heartfelt hospitality. Her interest in science and detail-oriented style lend to Peeples’ passion for creating amazing cocktails in just one shake.
“It took some real encouragement from my friends. I was a bartender for years, but to own my own business and see where it has grown from 2017 to now has just been amazing, and I wouldn’t have realized what it could become if I didn’t … start it,” Peeples said.
What can someone expect when they hire The Perfect 10 Mixology service?
We provide services for fundraisers and weddings and corporate events and team-building activities. We also offer mixology classes, teaching people how to create cocktails at home. We did a lot of virtual classes during the pandemic, teaching people how to mix, shake and feel confident.
What does a typical day look like for you?
So, one of the most significant accomplishments I’m super proud of is that we’re now a registered trademark company. And so that takes us to a whole, another level. I still work a nine to five job. I have yet to jump that ship, but it’s exciting. I have a fantastic team that helps me out all the way through. I couldn’t do without them.
What can attendees look forward to this year for the event?
You can wear your holiday or kickback gear. We ask people to come out and support what we’re doing. If we continuously have that encouragement from the community, we would appreciate it, and the cocktails will be the bomb.
The Take Over, hosted by The Perfect 10 Mobile Mixology service, The Speakeasy, and What’s the Current, will take place Sunday, Dec. 18, 2022, in Detroit. Attendees can donate to the benefit event for entry, where proceeds will be given to the Identify Your Dream foundation.
