Lawrence Roebuck says physical activity can boost overall well-being

This dynamic entrepreneur and fitness professional offers personal training and grooming services

“I’ve created an experience that not only transforms the external but the internal as well,” Lawrence Roebuck, celebrity trainer, philanthropist, and owner of Ace360, shared with rolling out. The practice is something Roebuck lives by, as he is dedicated to transforming the lives of his clients through personal training and grooming services.

Roebuck’s journey to becoming a trainer and barber started after he suffered a knee injury and wanted a healthy recovery. Twelve years later, he’s had the opportunity to pour into his community by motivating them to stay fit and look their best. Beyond personal training, Roebuck is a licensed barber who offers top-notch services to his clients from facials to beard grooming, as well as a number of other aesthetic services.

What can a typical client expect when booking your services?

From a training perspective, I pride myself on integrity and character. Beyond the integrity aspect, a client loves the fact that there’s so much experience tied into knowledge to gain from me. Before I became certified, I studied for at least two years, just to make sure that I knew what was doing. Knowledge is only as important or as useful as … the person you’re able to explain it to. I’ve created a space to where it’s more private and sensible to the individual.

How do you handle clients who may not be as committed to their fitness and grooming goals as they should be?

I do my best to play the coaching role in the barbering world and training. I share statements to motivate and inspire my clients and it’s easy to do because I live it myself. I try my best to adjust to who is in front of me and I understand I am a part of the process to making someone feel their best.

What is your greatest professional achievement?

It’s a daily accomplishment to be able to provide the service to any and everyone who needs it. I left a really good paying job to go take a risk to work in a barber shop and within a matter of two and a half months or so I was pretty much able to see the same money that I was making at that job in that barbershop. That was one of the biggest accomplishments overall, just being able to show myself that I could do it.
