Ciara has outraged fans who are astonished that she could do a collaborative song with the much-maligned Chris Brown.

The wife of NFL star Russell Wilson and Breezy are promoting their new single, “How We Roll,” which will drop on Friday, Aug. 4.

Some fans are vilifying both Ciara and Breezy, referencing his abusive past that includes the severe beatdown of global superstar Rihanna in 2009 that required hospitalization.

Some find it incomprehensible that the singer nicknamed “Ci Ci” would do another studio production with Brown because of his alleged penchant for violence.

According to The Blast, Chris and two other males were sued for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman at his home in 2018. He adamantly denied the allegations. The case was reportedly settled out of court.

In 2021, TMZ reported that a woman called the police and accused Brown of assaulting her at his home.

In 2022, NBC News reported Breezy was slapped with a $20 million lawsuit after an unidentified woman accused him of raping and drugging her while on a yacht in Miami in 2020.

Other fans, however, are chastising Ciara’s detractors for their self-righteous sanctimonious stances and outright hypocrisy.
