DC Young Fly paid homage to his longtime girlfriend, the late Jacky Oh, on what would have been her 34th birthday.
The comedian and star of the ultra-popular “Wild N’ Out” TV series gathered with her close friends and family members to say a prayer and blow out candles on behalf of Jacky, whose birth name was Jacklyn Smith.
“Dear Heavenly Father, we come together humbly. We just want to say we’re thankful, and we’re grateful, Father. We’re thankful for Jacklyn’s life, heavenly Father, and we’re going to continue to just lift her up, Heavenly Father,” he said.
“We just pray, Heavenly Father, that you grant us the strength, the guidance, the motivation, the inspiration, the tools, the mindset to just continue to be uplifted, Heavenly Father. Have great joy, have great spirit, Heavenly Father.”
DC also wished the mother of their three children a posthumous birthday on his own Instagram page by stating that he is going to “love [her] for life.”
In May 2023, Jacky Oh passed away from what has been determined as complications due to cosmetic surgery. Jacky Oh, who met DC Young Fly on the set of “Wild N’ Out” and was a beauty entrepreneur, was undergoing a gluteal augmentation procedure.
Unfortunately, Jacky’s health condition deteriorated the following day and she died on May 31 at a local hospital in South Florida.
Her death was ruled accidental in October 2023.
