Drake has never been shy of cashing in when the moment is big — even if it means ruffling some feathers along the way.

The Toronto artist recently released the music video for his song “You Broke My Heart,” which was one of the six songs on his Scary Hours edition of For All the Dogs.

The six-minute video begins with Drake and country music singer Morgan Wallen sitting down at a restaurant and talking about breaking up with a woman. As the video progresses, Drake and Wallen leave the restaurant in the same car, and while driving off, the car blows up.

Wallen is only in the video for a few minutes, but that didn’t matter to people on social media who called out Drake for working with an alleged racist.

Back in February 2021, Wallen was heard in a video shouting to a friend, “Hey, take care of this “p—- a– motherf—–. Take care of this p—- a– n—–.”

Big Loud Label, which released Wallen’s music with Republic Records, had suspended Wallen’s contract indefinitely at the time.

Though it was two years ago, people have not forgotten about the incident and brought it to social media when the video was released.
