Fans of Kim Kardashian’s long-running mobile game “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood” should prepare to say goodbye because the game is set to come to an end after nearly 10 years.

Launched in June 2014 in partnership with mobile game developer Glu, “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood” gave users a chance to ascend to stardom in various ways including acting, modeling or being a socialite. While the game was free to play, users could buy “K stars” for additional opportunities to make their player a star.

The game — which also featured appearances from sisters Khloé and Kourtney, mother Kris Jenner  and other celebs like André Leon Talley and NeNe Leakes — was an immediate success quickly becoming on track to exceed $200 million in annual sales within a month of its launch.

Kardashian released a statement giving heartfelt thanks to the team at Glu for their hard work on the game over the years and to the many fans who have been members of the community of players.

“I’m so grateful from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has loved and played ‘Kim Kardashian: Hollywood’ in the past 10 years,” Kardashian wrote. “This journey has meant so much to me, but I’ve realized that it’s time to focus that energy into other passions. I want to thank the Glu team and the many people behind the scenes who have worked diligently on making it a success. I will be forever inspired by this community that we built together.”

Both Android and Apple’s app stores have removed the game. Current users of the app have been notified within the app that they can continue to play until the shutdown date. The app now has a countdown timer for the app’s shutdown so users are reminded of its impending closure.

Kim Kardashian: Hollywood” is set to shut down on April 8.
