Selena Gomez was caught on camera during the Golden Globes on Jan. 7, alongside close friend Taylor Swift. While it is thought that she had been gossiping about makeup mogul Kylie Jenner and her Wonka star boyfriend Timothée Chalamet, an insider has now stepped in to quash the rumors.
“She was absolutely not referencing anything about Timothée or Kylie, and she never even saw or spoke to them,” a source told People.
Fans on social media had also claimed that Gomez — who starred as Chalamet’s love interest in the 2018 film A Rainy Day in New York — had asked her former co-star for a picture during the glitzy awards night, but that “The Kardashians” star had said no.
The comments come just one day after an insider claimed Gomez was “really happy” with her new boyfriend Benny Bianco.
