Mary J. Blige was mistakenly added to the lineup for Las Vegas’ Lovers and Friends Festival.
The R&B legend was listed on the poster earlier this week, but she has since confirmed that her name was printed in error. She said she is preoccupied with preparations for her Strength of a Woman Summit in New York City, which takes place the weekend of May 10.
“I am beyond humbled by the response from all of you about the announcement of me on Lovers and Friends Festival. Unfortunately, my inclusion was an error as I will be busy in preparation for my Strength of a Woman Summit just one week later! I have the greatest fans in the world and can’t wait to see you in New York in a few short months!” she said to her Instagram Stories.
The Lovers and Friends Festival takes place on May 4.
The star-studded line-up includes headliners Janet Jackson, Usher and Backstreet Boys, plus the likes of Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Gwen Stefani, Alicia Keys, TLC, Ciara, Ne-Yo, T-Pain, Timbaland and Jason Derulo.
Meanwhile, Blige is featured alongside the likes of The Weeknd, Justin Bieber, 21 Savage, DJ Khaled, Busta Rhymes, Swae Lee, Babyface, French Montana, and others on Diddy’s first studio album in 17 years, The Love Album: Off the Grid, which dropped in September.
Blige’s last studio effort was 2022’s Good Morning Gorgeous.
