It is already widely known that Marvel Cinematic Universe dropped rising star Jonathan Majors from the juicy role of Kang the Conquer as soon as he was convicted of assaulting and harassing his former girlfriend.
In the search for an adequate — or even better — replacement, studio heads are said to be looking at the son of two-time Oscar winner Denzel Washington.
John David Washington has already shown that he has the presence, skills and moxie to step out of the shadow of his venerated father, as he did with his performance in the Academy Award-winning film BlacKkKlansman.
Initially, even before the Majors’ verdict came down and sent his career plunging into the abyss, rumors had it that the studios were eying marquee stars Damson Idris of “Snowball” fame and Colman Dominga who just got nominated for an Oscar for the movie Rustin.
However, following the aftermath of Majors’ conviction and unofficial indefinite exile from Hollywood, Washington’s name has emerged as the leading choice.
John David Washington is reportedly being considered for the role of Kang the Conqueror in the MCU.

Such a move would be a major undertaking for Washington whose career would reportedly be tied up for several years, if not for an entire decade, playing multiple iterations of Kang in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
