Keyshia Cole, Jaheim, K. Michelle, and Trey Songz united for what was appropriately advertised as a “Night of Love” the weekend before Valentine’s Day at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The night was made even more special because Jaheim hails from nearby New Brunswick, New Jersey, where he was discovered and signed by fellow New Jerseyan Kay Gee of Naughty by Nature.

Cole, who portrayed herself in last year’s Lifetime film Keyshia Cole: This is My Story, performed many of her biggest hits, including “Love,” “Let It Go,” “Heaven Sent” and “I Remember.” Cole, who headlined, was joined by Jaheim, who returned to the stage to perform the duet “I’ve Changed.”

Jaheim, who walked out on stage wearing a winter white outfit, immediately showed that he still has the singing chops that made him a fixture on the R&B charts in the early 2000s. Jaheim performed his hits “Put That Woman First,” “Fabulous,” “Anything” and “Just in Case,” expertly blending his catalog of slow jams and up-tempo songs.

K. Michelle, who first gained fame on the reality show “Love & Hip Hop,” opened the concert. Trey Songz also performed.

Not only did the four unite for the sold-out concert at Prudential Center, but they will do so again for the 24-city Love Hard tour, which kicks off Feb. 22 in Macon, Georgia. Other tour stops include Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and New York City, before wrapping in Southaven, Mississippi, on April 14. Visit Ticketmaster to purchase tickets for the tour.

Prudential Center is a world-class sports and entertainment venue that hosts not only many of the biggest tours in the country, but the arena also hosted Michael B. Jordan’s Invesco QQQ Legacy Classic three times and the MTV Video Music Awards twice, including last year. Visit prucenter.com for upcoming events at the venue.
