Comedian DC Young Fly is making a heartfelt plea to the bandits that recently broke into his car and stole a book bag that contained the death certificate of his late partner, Jacky Oh.
On Tuesday, Feb. 20, the “85 South” host took to Instagram to get the word out to whoever may have information on the bag that was taken from his car outside Los Angeles’ Hollywood Improv comedy club.
“I just want my bag,” wrote the comedian and rapper. “Just politely find a way to get it back to me!!!! I had personal belongings in there!!!!”
The 31-year-old “Celebrity Squares” host later made a follow-up video post again asking for the bag to be returned and shared a little bit more on why its return is extra important to him.
“I just want my book bag; it’s just got some personal belongings in that motherf—–, you feel me?” he said. “Some personal belongings in that motherf—–, bruh.”
“I really hate that I gotta do all this s—,” he continued. “The bag got my girl’s death certificate in it. … I just need the bag, bruh.”
Sometime later, he posted another video reiterating that he just wants the bag returned and isn’t concerned with anything else in it.
“Ain’t nothing in the bag beneficial,” he noted before adding he could care less about the “couple of dollars” that may have been inside it.
“But just don’t throw the bag in the trash,” he implored. “Don’t throw the bag on the street. Just drop the bag off discreetly back at the Hollywood Improv and go on ’bout your business. I get it.”
DC Young Fly and Jacky Oh met while both working on “Wild ‘N Out” in 2015 and had three children together before her untimely passing as a result of cosmetic surgery complications on May 31, 2023.
